MGS was originally founded in 1975. Since then the company has grown drastically in both size and capability, transforming itself from a trucking services provider and a construction material supplier into a diversified corporation capable of handling every aspect of construction.

1975

MGS starts as a small enterprise engaged in trucking and supplying construction material.

1990

The company ventures into subdivision and land development and enters the ready mix concrete industry with its first plant in Cavite.

1996

The company establishes MGS Besser Block Inc., which became the country’s largest manufacturer of concrete pavers and load bearing concrete hollow blocks.

2003

MGS marks its 28th founding anniversary with the introduction of a new corporate logo.

2007

The Rembrandt in Vista Land’s Presidio is the company’s first foray into the construction of residential buildings.

2010

MGS ventures into the construction of malls, institutional buildings, and office spaces starting off with the Starmall project for Masterpiece Asia Properties, Inc. in Bulacan.

2012

The company moves into mass housing production using cast-in-place (CIP) technology.

2014

MGS receives its Triple A category license from the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB).

2015

PrimeWater solidifies a partnership with MGS as its major contractor by awarding MGS the company’s first water treatment plant project in Zamboanga.

2016

MGS enters the Fit out business via Coffee Project and Vista Cinema.

2017

MGS establishes additional subsidiaries: MHI, PHI, HFCI, and THI; to handle the construction needs of the horizontal housing segment of Vista Land and Bria Homes.

The Group undergoes massive expansion and equipment modernization.

2018

PCAB upgrades MGS’ license to the Quadruple A category, the highest classification given to general contractors that satisfy their exceptional standards in technical expertise, building track record, and financial capability.

2019

The company strengthens its position as the contractor with the widest geographical reach, with projects in more than 40 provinces nationwide with over 1400 kilometers of roads built and about 2000 hectares of land developed.

MGS ramps up construction of Vista Malls, AllHome, and AllDay.


2020

MGS starts building the first purified water bottling plant for Crystal Clear, Inc. which uses the combined state-of-the-art technology of Krones Germany and Tech-Long International.

2021

The Group increases its production capacity in mass housing construction, breaching the 100,000 mark of housing units built in just four years.

Scales up construction of mid-rise and hi-rise developments across the country.
